The purpose of this research is to apperceive the stakeholder’s understanding towards the differences of Corporate Social Responsibility and Islamic Philanthropy in financial report of Shariah Bank in Surabaya. This research used qualitative descriptive approach. Informants of this research were the stakeholders of Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah (BNIS) and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) in Surabaya. Data was collected by interviewing the stakeholders of the banks. The research findings revealed that there was a different policy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Islamic Philanthropy in BNIS and BSM. BNIS combines the CSR concept and Islamic Philanthropy into a new concept called Manajemen Syukur (Syukur Management). Manajemen Syukur (Syukur Management), managing alliance funds from company’s profit, zakah, and Employee Social Responsibility (ESR). Meanwhile, BSM manages the CSR purely using the concept of Islamic Philanthropy.
